John Harris

John started painting with Lacock Art Group over 30 years ago and is one of its original members. He continues to enjoy attending the weekly meetings and exhibiting in the many exhibitions throughout the year in Lacock and the surrounding area. John paints in a variety of medium’s including pastel, watercolour, pencil, oils, acrylics, scraper board and charcoal - to name a few. He enjoys the relaxing atmosphere of painting and on occasions provides demonstrations for local groups to inspire others to try new things. John is a self-taught artist and took art up from a young age when his life was challenging.
