Melissa Wishart oils workshop
Our first workshop of 2024, held on 17 February exclusively for art group members, focussed on oil painting and delivered by professional artist and tutor, Melissa Wishart. Attendees had a range of experience with oils and Melissa catered successfully to all levels, from those who hadn't used oils at all, and those who hadn't used them since being teenagers, to those who often paint with them.
We had a brilliant time. We learnt a great deal, were challenged to try new approaches, produced some pretty respectable paintings, but above all we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Here are some images that help tell the story of the workshop.
